Wildflowers, bright blue skies, bluebonnets, and everything else that makes Texas spring irresistible. Spring sessions are all about capturing that fresh, lively energy of your family, with nature waking up around us. It's a perfect time for photos that are as real and full of life as you are, and that’s what my Wildflower Mini Sessions are all about — capturing fun, real moments with your family.

In my opinion, nothing quite captures this spring feeling better than the gorgeous wildflower field at Crowley Park in Richardson, which is why these wildflower mini sessions are genuinely my favorite mini sessions of the whole year. I am soooo excited to offer these unique and beautiful photo sessions for families in the DFW area. 

What to Expect.

For those new here (hello! 🖤) Wildflower Mini Sessions are condensed outdoor photo sessions that take place at the wildflower field at Crowley Park in Richardson, Texas during peak wildflower blooming season. This typically occurs in late April or early May, which really is the best time to capture your family amid a colorful and natural backdrop.

During your mini session, we’ll hang out, play some games, and have a good time during our 15-minutes together while I snap away, focused on capturing the moments that make your family unique. Honestly, I like to think of myself as your friend (who just happens to have a camera).

But really, the wildflower fields we have here in DFW are beyond special. They’re truly a one-of-a-kind setting that is not only visually stunning, but also provide the perfect backdrop that your kids will instantly fall in love with.

Wildflower mini sessions will be 15 minute sessions long, and will take place on May 6 2023.

LOCATION:

The 2023 wildflower minis will take place at Crowley Park in Richardson, Texas.

YOU’LL RECEIVE:

  • 15-minute photo session with Your choice of 10 full-resolution digitals in a gallery of at least 30+ images

  • the Option to upgrade for $30/image or $150 for access to the entire gallery

How to Prep for Your 2024 Wildflower Minis Session:

Before the day of the wildflower minis arrives, there are a few things to keep in mind to ensure you make the most of your mini session!

First, timing is everything when it comes to wildflower mini sessions. These sessions are nice and short, so it's important to arrive to your mini session early enough to park and get the kiddos ready before your session start-time.

Another thing to consider is what to wear for your session! While wildflowers provide a beautiful and natural background, it's important to choose clothing that complements the colors of the flowers and that is also comfortable for your family to wear. Soft spring colors, as well as neutral tones, tend to photograph well in wildflower fields. And remember that you don't have to match, but coordinating colors can photograph well.
